Hammy and the Strawberry began as a story I made up for our children, inspired by a real family hamster who escaped his cage and discovered a strawberry beside our refrigerator.
What started as one silly bedtime story became a family tradition. Over the years, Hammy went on countless imaginary adventures, and eventually I decided it was time to turn one of those stories into a book we could hold in our hands.
It's a little piece of our family's life, and we're excited to share it with yours.
